Laura McKiernan Boylan is Bestow’s Vice President of Underwriting Solutions, working with Bestow underwriting leadership and enterprise partners to design, launch, and scale underwriting programs on Bestow technology to improve risk selection outcomes. Before Bestow, Laura led the team in the design and build of an underwriting platform supporting a fully digital life insurance new business process for Haven Life and Haven Tech. Previously, she was an actuary at AXA US. Laura lives deep in the weeds of medical, behavioral, and financial risk data, focusing on execution and operational optimization. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College. She lives in Jersey City, NJ, with her husband and kids.
