John is the VP, Deputy Chief Underwriter, for Lincoln Financial Group and has 30 years of underwriting experience. His career has spanned underwriting leadership roles with direct carriers, a reinsurer, an international bank, and a brokerage general agency. John is active in the industry serving as the Vice President of the Southeastern Home Office Underwriters Association (SEHOUA), and a subcommittee of the ACLI. He has also served on the Program Committee for AHOU. He has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Beloit College (WI) and an MBA from San Francisco State University. He resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife, 2 daughters and 2 French Bulldogs. He is a self-proclaimed foodie, craft beer and bourbon enthusiast, and enjoys photography.
