Cody Socher started his underwriting career at Prudential Financial spending several years in various underwriting roles. Ranging from a line underwriter to a lead underwriting trainer and an Underwriting Manager. Cody joined MassMutual in March of 2021 as part of the MMSD start-up, a brokerage channel within MassMutual. Over the last 3 years, Cody has helped stand-up a team of underwriters while establishing relationships in the brokerage marketspace. He is currently the Head of MMSD Underwriting where he oversees the Large Case Unit and is responsible for helping craft the strategy and vision of the department. Cody currently holds his FALU, FLMI, and ACS designations. He resides in Minnesota with his wife and three kids.
