Selena Puttick is currently VP and Chief Underwriter for Munich Re in Canada. She started in the insurance industry in 1989 and has been in underwriting since 1998. She spent much of her career working for a large direct company before moving into her current role in reinsurance. She is active in the industry having served on various committees including the ALU, AHOU, CIU, ALU Board, and the CRC. In 2022, her industry contributions were recognized when she was inducted in the AHOU Hall of Fame! She is enthusiastic and passionate, taking pride in presenting creative solutions and collaborating to deliver a remarkable customer experience while maintaining strong risk principles. She leads by example and has built many strong relationships over the years. On a personal note, she loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.
