Dr. Rooney is Vice President and medical director for SCOR Life Reinsurance. He is a residency trained family medicine physician and subsequently received both board certification and fellowship in Family Medicine. He obtained his executive MBA from Benedictine College. He was in private practice for 20 years. He has been a medical director in the health and life insurance industry for 17 years. He supported SCOR’s Canadian and US underwriting departments for several years but currently is a member of the Health and Wellness department at SCOR Global Life where he works to develop solutions for policyholders so they can enjoy a longer and healthier life.
